Berry Chicken on a Stick

Kid Kritics ApprovedChicken on a stick! Kids really do love foods on a stick! This combination of the chicken marinated with the Braggberry marinate and the sweet potatotes was perfect. The chicken has a sweet flavoring from the marinate which goes really well with the sweet potatoes, and the blueberry on the top adds color and fun (and of course more nutrients!). Our children at the Kid Kritics Taste test really enjoyed this one. All of the kids rated it between good and great. They had some fun quotes to share: “This was so good my taste buds went Tango!”

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 2 medium sized sweet potatotes
  • 2 tbsp Sprinkle seasonings from Bragg
  • 1/2 cup fresh Blueberries from Naturipe

Preheat 350 degrees F. Cut it up into bite sized chunks that you will be able to place skewer through. Place in zippered plastic bag with Braggberry marinate and leave in refrigerator for at least 3-5 hours. Take skin off, cut them up into chunks and place on baking sheet drizzled with olive oil and bake at 350 degrees F until about half way cooked. Place raw chicken and potatoes, 2 of each alternating in skewers. Place skewers in baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle the Sprinkle Seasonings over it. Bake at 350 degrees F until chicken is cooked through. When skewers ready place a blueberry at the tip of each and serve!
