This is a great recipe when you want something fast and fresh but need a little help to get the flavours right. Get creative with the fillings and let the kids create their own versions – fun to make and eat!

Chilli Con Carne
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 500g lean minced beef
- 1 packet Continental Chilli Con Carne Recipe Base
- 1 x 400g can chopped tomatoes
- 1 x 400g can red kidney beans
- 1/2 cup (125ml) water
- 1 packet taco shells
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Chilli Con Carne: 1) Heat the oil in a frying pan on medium-high heat. 2) Add mince and cook until just browned. 3) Add the Recipe Base, tomatoes, kidney beans and water and stir until thickened. 4) Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 mins.
To Serve: 1) Warm the taco shells following direction on packet. 2) Spoon Chilli Con Carne into the warmed taco shells and top with lettuce, tomato, avocado. 3) Dollop of sour cream and serve immediately.
