Raspberry Heart Cookies


Thanks to Alison Morgon, Founder of Relauncher for this wonderful recipe.   She loves cooking healthy but delicious dishes for her husband of 11 years, and this is a recipe she made just recently for their romantic night in.

  • Biscuit Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup nuts (I used activated almonds, although you can use any type of
  • nuts you wish)
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 3 tbsp Loving Earth organic cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp Loving Earth maca powder
  • 1 tsp stevia
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Magic coconut oil
  • 3 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch Himalayan salt
  • Filling Ingredients
  • 2 c frozen raspberries
  • 1 large frozen banana
  • 2 TBS vanilla essence
  • Biscuit Method
  • Place the nuts into a high powered blender (I use a thermomix). Blend nuts until they are broken down. Add remaining ingredients and blend until it turns into a batter. Place the batter on some parchment paper, then place another piece of parchment paper over the top. Roll out the dough, then use a small glass to create round biscuit shapes. Place in a dehydrator overnight, so they become crunchy and the moisture is removed.


  • Filling Method
  • Make the filling around 30 minutes prior to serving Place the raspberries and banana into the blender and mix until it’s an ice-cream consistency Pour into a lined slice tin and place in the freezer for approximately 25 minutes (until the mixture is firm) When the mixture is firm, remove from the freezer and use a glass cutter to cut out the correct size. Place a biscuit on the bottom, filling in the middle, and another biscuit on the top. Dust with coconut or natural raspberry powder


  • NOTE: you could also make the filling in the morning, then assemble the biscuits and pop back into the freezer. Be sure to remember to take them out of the freezer 10 minutes prior to serving.
